With that said: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!! Yeah, I know it's like 3 or 4 months old, but i figured I do it anyway. The day was prettty normal with work and stuff although, I did have the month of March off from school (CA has year round elementary schools and the track I was on had March off), but I still had Montessori. I wore a green shirt, green boa, green clover glasses, green clover headband that said "Kiss me. I'm Irish), and a green sparkely shamrock body art on my cheek!! The kids loved it!! It did make seeing hard, but fun. I was disappointed that no one kissed me this year as last year I had a cute old man give me a kiss on the cheek saying that he never passed up a chance to kiss a pretty girls!! Hehehehe!!

That night, Nana had an awards banquet for cheerleading, so we all went to have free dinner. We had a our green dinner the day before with green macaroni salad, green salad, green punch, and our famous rainbow cookies (yummy. You should try them). Nana won most spirited and got this CRAZY phsycho bobble head cheerleader trophie. It was kind of scary.
Nana and I decided that since we were the only 2 home this year with mom and dad we would make them watch all 3 of our St. Patrick's day movies. So over the period of 3 nights we watched Darby O'Gill and the Little People, The Gnomemobile, and Finnian's Rainbow. If you haven't watched them, I highly recommend it!! We like Darby O'Gill and the Little People best because it has a very young, very HOT Sean Connery in it!! But Finnian's Rainbow is good too with our favorite dancer, Fred Astaire, in it!! It was a fun family holiday. Gotta love being Irish (my grandma's maiden name on my mom's side is Daly. Can't get much more Irish than that!!)!!
