Independence Missouri, HERE HE COMES!!

My little brother Brendon has been waiting to go on a mission for our church his WHOLE life it seems!! He is an amazing person with an amazing talent to love and be sensitive to everyone's needs!! He loves the gospel with all his heart and loves to serve and be active in the church!! We used to call him our little prophet when he was younger because if there was ever any doctrinal question he had that he didn't know the answer to he would search and search and SEARCH until he found the answer to it!! He is the first to ask what's wrong when you've had a bad day or to comfort when you are crying!! He loves his family very much and prefers to spend time with them than doing other activities!!! He is a special person that needed a special place to go on his mission. So the Lord sent him to Idependence Missouri, the future site of Zion on this continent!! He leaves February 11th, a month and a day after his 19th birthday!! He is soo jazzed about it as are we!! He gets to experience the church and its history first hand!! I spent a semester in Nauvoo and got to go to Independence and Liberty and Far West and Adam-ondi-Ahman, all places he might get to go, and it is truly a humbling and spiritual experience!! His love for the gospel will definitely shine through and he will be able to prepare that place for the future gathering of his brothers and sisters!! Get ready Missouri, cause here comes Elder Brendon
Berc Hutchings a.k.a. Match!! He's going to light you on FIRE!!

Rueben, Simeon, Levi, Naphtali, Issachar, Dan, Zebulun, Gad, Joseph, Judah, Benjamin. Now Who am I forgetting?

Oh that's right! ASHER!! That would be my brother!! He got to play Asher (one of the 12 sons of Israel) in the play Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!! It was a really good production and my brother is a natural performer!! He has the best facial expressions!! I loved it!! Enough to see it twice in fact!! It is a musical/opereta spoof on the story of Joseph and the coat of many colors!! It was pretty hillarious and the actors did great!! It helped that a lot of the people in it were from Troupe Cabana so I got to see a lot of old friends!! It was a blast!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

So, I had a blast for Thanksgiving!! Of course I loved it since I had 3 whole days off of any work or seminary of any kind, so I had no concerns or worries!! YIPEE!! So I lived it up played!! Thanksgiving morning I went and played tackle football with my ward. I was super excited since last year I was unable to play due to the fact that I had just gotten my huge knee cast off and I wasn't allowed to!! So this year I made up for it!! I of course had my knee brace on, but couldn't find my cleats, so had a hard time getting a grip to run with just sneakers. I did help on a few tackles and just enjoyed being able to play at all!! I am very competitive and aggressive (for those of you who know me, you can vouch for this). Then it was home to shower and off to my uncle ross's house to have Thanksgiving dinner. I love my cousin Michael cause he is so social and fun, buy he had to leave about an hour after we got there, so I didn't get to spend much time with him!! Oh well!! The food was terriffic just the same and we had fun playing Imagineiff, Family Feud, Tribond, and just talking!! We all got full and had a blast!! We got to watch a little bit of the Macy's day parade, but haven't seen Miracle on 34th Street yet!! Don't worry. We will though!! Over all it was a MAGNIFICENT day!!
